Hospital’s Response To Defamatory Allegations

Battle Mountain General Hospital is aware of defamatory allegations asserted against the Hospital and its employees by a former employee. Similar allegations were previously made to the Hospital by the former employee during his employment. A third party investigation was conducted and found that the allegations were unsubstantiated and/or resolved. After the conclusion of the investigation, the former employee chose to resign his employment and is no longer affiliated with the Hospital. The Hospital will be responding to these factually unsubstantiated allegations through appropriate legal and administrative processes.
