Maintenance Worker
Department: Facilities
Reports To: Facilities Manager
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Battle Mountain General Hospital is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker with strong electrical expertise to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the safety, functionality, and reliability of hospital and clinic facilities, supporting both patient care and staff operations.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- May include rotating on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies
- Compensation based on experience
- Full benefits package, including health insurance, retirement, and paid time off
- Perform routine and emergency electrical repairs (minimum 5 years of experience required).
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general facility systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and document completed work in maintenance logs.
- Perform regular inspections of hospital facilities, equipment, and grounds.
- Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and exterior building maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to on-call emergencies as scheduled.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of electrical experience (required)
- Additional maintenance or facilities experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair techniques
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Battle Mountain General Hospital is seeking a qualified and motivated Clinic Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our rural health clinic. This position plays a vital role in ensuring quality patient care, managing clinic staff, and driving performance improvements across clinical services. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and organizational skills, with management experience required and clinical experience preferred.

Monday–Friday, (full-time, exempt)
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise and support clinic staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Oversee daily clinic operations and ensure efficient patient flow and care delivery
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and standards
- Collaborate with providers and administrative leadership on strategic initiatives
- Manage clinic budgets, staffing, inventory, and workflow optimization

Qualifications:

Medical Assistant, Full Time:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our BM Clinic team. The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of patient care and the execution of clinical tasks, contributing to the clinic’s efficiency and the well-being of our patients.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in the delivery of patient care.
- Perform clinical tasks, including but not limited to, taking vital signs, administering injections, and assisting with minor procedures.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas.
- Facilitate patient preparation for examination and assist in patient education.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications:
