Battle Mountain General Hospital continues to provide quality healthcare to our community and nursing home. As stated at Medicare.gov, “The Five-Star Quality Rating System was created to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily and help identify areas about which you may want to ask questions.” The Five-Star rating system is based on State Survey Health Inspections, staffing ratio per resident, and quality measures. Our staff takes great pride in making our residents feel at home. We have a talented, dedicated team who are committed to meeting the demands of 5-Star Quality. This dedication allows our residents to remain in the community near family and friends, enhancing their quality of life.

Thank you for visiting our web site. This is an exciting time for Battle Mountain General Hospital (BMGH). We have just completed our new Emergency Department, Clinical Laboratory, X-Ray Department, a large Day Room for Long Term Care, renovated all patient rooms and replaced our lobby and registration area. We have been replacing medical equipment in the Laboratory and Radiology to expand our diagnostic testing capabilities. We are actively recruiting additional medical staff members. We are just beginning a new strategic planning process as the Board of Trustees looks to the future to assure that BMGH will continue to meet the healthcare needs of Battle Mountain and the surrounding area. | ![]() Philip Hanna, CEO |
